What I like best is solitude, then I feel free to do whatever I like and feel good with that
Azizas Grandfather was known as the King of Palestine. He possessed land, orchards, cows, sheep, a dairy, a flour mill, tobacco plantations and factories. The ranch where he conducted all his business was in Ibten in the Galilee. It still exists today. A great many of the buildings were destroyed and a great chunk of the land was confiscated by the state. Most of her mothers family , uncles and aunts still live at the ranch. The grandfather is buried In the small family cemetery located on the ranchs slopes.
Azizas father was a physician until two years ago when he became ill. He arrived from the Lebanon in 1952 intending to help the Palestinians who remained without any medical care after the war of 1948. In Israel he met and married Azizas mother. All these years her father wanted to return to the Lebanon. In 1982 when the family was about to leave, the war between Israel and Lebanon broke out and they remained in Shfaram. During the filming, Aziza goes through several changes. Bringing back the past of her family and watching her own life in the present make her wonder about her own identity.
