The legendary Eartha Kitt passed away today, she was 81. Eartha was a singer, actress (who can forget her as Lady Eloise in Eddie Murphy’s Boomerang) and cabaret star. Ironically, this being Xmas, Eartha’s biggest hit was “Santa Baby”, originally recorded by Eartha in 1953 and since covered by the likes of everyone from Madonna to Boney James to Faith Evans.
