I promised a friend I would capture Mr. Squirrel whenever I had a chance to "catch him in the act" and today was my lucky day. He carried this orange from one of my trees, across the front yard, and up the tree to his little perch where he tore the orange apart.
At one point he looked at me trying to figure out what the heck I was doing. He did not stop long though because he's used to me photographing him and will screach at me when I am neglectful and fail to put nuts out for him.
As you can see, he litters my yard with his discarded oranges and peels and oh how he loves spitting them across the yard.
When he finishes his quick Vitamin C enriched meal, he throws what's left of it to the ground. I managed to get a shot of this morning's previously discarded orange in this clip.
