On Wednesday, April 4, 2007, the Babylon Green Party hosted a discussion of counter-military recruiting activities on Long Island (www.spncr.active.ws) with Karen Sackett (www.livfp.active.ws) and Sheila Croke (www.peacelongbeach.com), who are activists in the Suffolk Peace Network. The new location for the monthly gathering is at Pisces Cafe, 14A Railroad Avenue, Babylon, NY (631-321-1231) www.piscescafe.net Upcoming 1st Wednesday @ 7pm gatherings: On May 2, 2007 will be a Human Rights update with a local Amnesty International member. On June 5, 2007 will be an update of Green Party activities for the the 2008 Presidential Campaign. There will be no July 4, 2007 gathering. On August 1, 2007 will be an update of Immigration on LI.
