Here’s Rick Santelli’s rant, wherein he calls for the punishment of the Stupids who bought houses during the Ownership Society and cheap-credit days and are perhaps now having a hard time paying the mortgage due to their bonehead decisions like losing their jobs because their companies can’t borrow to cover payroll due to the overwhelmingly inept management of the, uh, Esteemed Financial Institutions Of America. (LOUD DEFLATING FART)It makes perfect sense that the financial sector (inasmuch as Rick Santelli is representative) would beg on their knees for cash from the government because it’s For The Good Of The World that they continue to exist, while deriding homeowners for spending wastefully on such excesses as an extra toilet. So if the Market is doing good, everyone’s doing good. And if the people who run the Market muck it up for everyone, then they should get bailed out and everyone else can go jump into Lake Michigan on Tea Party day.Good on ya, Rick!More video of the proposed “Tea Party” after the jump.
