Chronicling Obama's path from South Side schoolgirl to White House occupant, the comic is part of the "Female Force" series showcasing powerful female leaders. Issues featuring Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sold out immediately upon their release this week. While the Clinton and Palin comics are already on their second printings, their publisher believes Obama will be an even bigger seller. Distributors have stopped taking orders temporarily while Washington-based Bluewater Productions catches up with the demand. "I feel like the guy who invented the Furby," Bluewater President Darren Davis said. "The reaction has been insane." The Obama comic, which will be officially released April 25 and will sell for $3.99, shows the first lady growing up in her middle-class South Shore home, attending Princeton and helping her husband become president. In keeping with the upbeat tone of the "Female Force" series, the Obama edition does not mention any controversial speeches or fist bumps.

Non, non ! je ne vous ai pas abandonné, pour partir me dorer la pilule au soleil, je suis toujours fidèle au poste puisque je travaillerai tout juillet. Et je ne glande pas, puisque comme je remplace ma boss en ce moment, j’ai vraiment beaucoup de taff ! (bon comme j’aime mon boulot, ça me va… heureusement, et Paris l’été, je trouve ça plus zen, je préfère partir en vacances quand tout le monde est stressé !!). Évidemment j’attends toujours une augmentation qui me ferait aimer encore davantage mon travail, mais bizarrement, mon boss et ma DRH soufrent d’un trouble auditif certain dès que j’aborde le sujet… (étonnant, non ?)Mes dernières semaines se suivent et se ressemblent : métro, boulot, nuits d’amour avec mon chéri (so hot !) et SOLDES ! Parce que oui il faut le dire, cette année j’ai complètement craqué ! j’ai dévalisé les magasins afin de refaire ma garde robe ! fini les chaussettes trouées (oui je sais…) les vieux caleçons gris (oui je sais aussi) place au matorif 2.0 avec des caleçons aussi sexys que ses chaussettes ! (c’est vendeur ça non ?). Mon craquage du jour (qui n’est que le dernier d’une loooongue série) une belle paire, qui n’est pas sans rappeler celle évoquée par h. Si le orange est sa couleur du moment, la mienne est le blanc avec une touche de bleu turquoise :Et qu’en pense mon banquier ? Ben à vrai dire, je ne lui ai pas trop posé la question mais je suis sûr qu’il ne m’en voudrait pas ! mon compte est - encore -positif - ce qui n’était pas arrivé depuis bien longtemps en fin de mois (merci la prime de participation). Qu’on ne me dise pas que les ménages ne consomment pas assez parce que le ménage matorif, lui, agit pour la croissance de votre économie !! (j’aurais droit à une médaille vous croyez ? même si elle est en chocolat, c’est pas grave, je la sucerai )
