You might find the continuation of Ecclesiaties interesting aswell (verse 10) "All that your hand finds to do, do with you very power, for there is no work nor devising nore knowledge nore wisdom in She'ol, the place to which you are going.

Glad I won't be concious or have knowledge in death. As I await my loving Fathers appointed King, Jesus Christ for the resurection.

puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

I'm glad God is love, and that death is exactly that, death, not a transition of life to life or some un-godly unjust eternal torment.

I'm also glad that death will be hurled in to the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14 "And death and Ha'des were hurled into the lake of fire...".

Because death will be no more. The lake of fire is not a place of concious torment. It's a place where things go to not exsist. Death (She'ol - Ha'des the common grave of man where Jesus said Lazarus was "sleeping") does not imply concious in other scripture. So something is misinterpereted. I believe the word used to describe the lake of fire in greek is Gehenna, from the literal lake of fire in biblical times. Acts says both the righteous and unrighteous will be resurrected from this place of sleep, or as Solomon said unconciousness. But death will be hurled in to death basically according to Rev. Death will be no more in other words, not forever more that mans teaching of the doctrine of hell comes from.

Interesting interrperatation. I decided to look up the word concious in the bible since there's always two sides to a story, and the truth is the one that sets us free. I found that it clearly states the use of that word in this scripture:

Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the living are concious that they will die; but as for the dead, the are concious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the rememberance of them has been forgotten".

That scripture really does emphasis Gods viewpoint of death that he delivered through Moses:

Genesis 3:19 "In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return".

As far as I can tell, Adam was not born from the man made terminology "Hell", but before he was created he was dust, exactly what he returns to, that I hear preached over and over again at funerals.

It's interesting to note that Job feared being dead much less than fearing God, Job 14:13 "O That in She'ol you would conceal me, That you would keep me secret until your anger turns back,".

(Note the Hebrew word She'ol for the Greek word Hades).

My reasoning of your interrperatation, if we don't die after death and Solomon is not telling the truth about conciousness after death, then Jesus never died? We're all immortal anyway? Never may that be taught! For God created us from the dust for which we are to return.

The Father I know and Jesus knows, is the one who excersises loving kindness, mercy, forgiveness. For God is Love (1 John 4:8 "He that does not love has not come to know God, because God is love). Yes he is just. Would a Father of love put his childs hand on a burning fire forever for the smallest sin? Or would he reprove him justly, with love, mercy and forgiveness? Fruitage of the spirit to name a few.

Perhaps God's own described quality of love since he is love is best left to be described:

1 Corinthians 13:4 "Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get
