Truly an amazing episode. LOST took the week off from revealing secrets like the 'Oceanic 6,' and concentrated on Sayid and Desmond's helicopter flight from the island to the freighter. Along the way we are witness to a confirmation that some type of time/space effect is occurring in the lives of our survivors. We are also witness to a plateau in one of the many storylines -- that of Desmond and his love Penny. It's taken three years (2 seasons) for us to get to this point....
