original description

In this rare piece of footage, shot in the 1980's, Jah Shaka and Mad Professor reveal back ground information about Dub and Sound Systems. Shaka speaks about his usage of home-built equipment and the main emphasis on the conscious use of frequencies (EQing), which can make or break a good musical work in the mix. Mad Professor speaks about the influence that a good Dub can have one someone's mood, for it can give strength in a time of downpression. A nice and almost humoristic clip from the movie "Babylon" then shows just what they mean. We are then taken to the studio, where JAH Shaka and the Fasimbas play a righteous tune with Mad Professor at the Controls, which unfortunately is cut off too soon...
