In this rare piece of footage, shot in the 1980's, Jah Shaka and Mad Professor reveal back ground information about Dub and Sound Systems.
Shaka speaks about his usage of home-built equipment and the main emphasis on the conscious use of frequencies (EQing), which can make or break a good musical work in the mix.
Mad Professor speaks about the influence that a good Dub can have one someone's mood, for it can give strength in a time of downpression.
A nice and almost humoristic clip from the movie "Babylon" then shows just what they mean.
We are then taken to the studio, where JAH Shaka and the Fasimbas play a righteous tune with Mad Professor at the Controls, which unfortunately is cut off too soon...
