Serena Ryder is a 23 year old Canadian singer/songwriter. Blessed with a three octave vocal range and the ability to tackle any musical style, Serena Ryder's folk-rock style has been compared to the likes of Janis Joplin, Patsy Cline, Aretha Franklin and KD Lang. The album is a collection of notable Canadian songs from the past 100 years (1867-1967) including Leonard Cohen's "Sisters Of Mercy" and The Band's "This Wheel's On Fire" and features the 1st single "Good Morning Starshine". The album also features three new tracks written by Ryder "Weak In the Knees", "Out Of The Blue" (co-written with Randy Bachman) and "Just Another Day" and were produced by Rhys Fulber (Josh Groban, Delerium).
