On va voir droit à plein d’images, d’analyses… En tout cas si leur hymne ressemble plus à ça…… ce sera un bon premier pas à mettre au crédit d’Obama.Pour le reste on verra bien si “Yes we can…”. Sans illusion, hein.Posted in Musique, Politique Tagged: élection, Barack Obama, Hymne, Marvin Gaye, président, USA
This man was given to us a gift. This is the most amazing version of our national anthem I've ever heard or felt. It creeps inside of my soul and I am connected to God and country in a way that I've never been before. Marvin was a master of subtle messages in his songs. You must listen closely to hear what he's truely saying. Marvin was a modern day prophet in his own way. His reference to God is smoothly slipped into the melody. For example after "perilous fight" he sings "Oh Lord", after "Oh the fight" he sings "Jesus", and he says "THY star spangled banner" rather than "THAT star spangled banner", and the last "Oh Lord" at the end clinches it. He believed in God and that God was the hope for our country. I believe God probably stood up and marveled at His own earthly creation during the singing of this song.
First time hearing it I'm in glee love it. Thank you nike for bring such a sound to an person whom just heard of this man's name. love it just love it.
