Hey er’ebody….hasn’t been on the clog much recently, but everything in New York is going swell….I hope wherever everybody is, things are beginning to thaw and the lively spring spirits are starting to take hold.Wanted to share a few things…if still nobody has seen Paul Stamet’s TEDtalk about 6 ways mushrooms could help save the world, I guess I wanted to remind and also say that I got to meet Mr. STamets a couple weeks ago here at school and it really furthered some things along, especially my thesis which is now dealing w/ the role of plants in the 21st century globalized world. But anyway, I’ve been utterly awed by that dude since June, and it was really funky of the universe to let our paths cross here in my last semester of school…He told me a few awesome stories, one of which was when law enforcements found a bunch of people picking psilocybes and they brought them all down to the courthouse…somebody called him to have him come down and just sort of oversee the whole situation, and he realized…everybody in this room, judges, cops, secretaries…has been innoculated by psilocybe spores….within a couple weeks, he said, outside of the courthouse was one of largest patches of psilocybe cyanescense he’d ever seen!Other thing I foound recently was a TedTalk about Underwater Astonishments…I’d long heard about these cephalapods, but had never seen a video…Don’t want to explain more, but think communicationLast thing, I heard about this site while I was traveling around Canadia this summer and went to a really fatty psytrance festival….They are a record label that releases free ambient/psytrance under creative commons…the Entheos Archive 2.0 CD was compiled by this guy Akhentek, who Michael Garfield has written some stuff about….Here is a link for their top 10 releases of the yearLooks like they also have a North American festi guide as well….So yeah, hopes everyones wellPS lo...
