Having been media specialist at the same elementary school for 20 years I have been amazed at the number of former students (college age and older) who ask me if I still show the "Wipers" movie in the library. I never called it that but that is what each successive class I showed it to would name it. That is one of the things they remember most about coming to the library aside from some of the books I read to them. I wish someone would make a modern day version--think of what all could be included!!!!!
