The battle is heating up in the war between the tiny village of Champagne in western Switzerland and its namesake in northeastern France. A court in Paris has now banned a Swiss firm from using the Champagne label on its biscuit packets. Last year, the Swiss region was forced to drop the name on its wine bottles.
