There are hundreds of waterfalls in Oregon. Many are easily accessible from I-84 along the Columbia River Gorge and others along Interstate 5 from Portland to the southern Oregon border. They are incredible examples of nature's artistry. The power and awesome beauty of their cascades has taken millions of years to create. Many are carved through basaltic rock once covered by hot flowing lava.
