SMD (SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO) plays "The Beat" live at Coachella 2008 on Sunday April 27th. I was so excited to see them perform live... this was my my first SMD experience! They are some of the BEST remixers around right now... their versions of songs are always my favorite. I loved the "control tower" that the boys hovered around, twisting knobs and pushing buttons... reminded me of Star Wars... wonderfully nerdy!! And yes... the lasers were mesmerizing... the green (my favorite color) smoke in the light was hard to stop watching... I couldn't help myself!
