Four more hit albums followed and in 2004 Gölä started singing in English. This however was less successful. In May 2008 he made his Swiss German comeback on television where he performed D'Stadt, a track from a new double album – featuring English and Swiss German songs – which knocked Madonna off the top of the charts.
