I can see everything. Finally! It’s Friday= last day of my first year of college and I’ve completed it with minor bumps and bruises. It officially ends today approximately at 2:30pm or whenever I finish my Anthropology final that starts at 12:30pm.I’m sitting not studying of course because I’m watching Dangerous Minds listening to my roommate once again argue with her boyfriend about NOTHING. Jesus Christ I’ve never witnessed such petty fights in my life. I’m actually getting nauseous because of how unnecessary and insignificant the arguments are. I’m so annoyed. Thank the Gods it’s almost over.Back to Dangerous Minds which by the way features one of my all time favorite Hip-Hop songs ever; Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio (when hip hop was good). Watching this movie just makes me think about what in the world am I doing with my life. I mean I’m know what I’m doing but I’m not doing enough? Idk… basically from my short 19 years of living, I’ve learned and others attest that I tend to live and do for others before myself. Which is a great attribute until it consumes you (Hamartia anyone?). But I have this great want to change someone’s life dramatically. Actually more than one person, I want to change a lot of people. Not necessarily the person, but just the way they think. Make them more open to learning about new things. Or finding someone who hasn’t been happy in a while, and show them that there’s plenty of reasons to love life. I don’t know, maybe this is my slight boredom talking. && I know many of the things I say lack intellectual merit, but I think I’m a people person. && in my book, that’s more important sometimes… than a standardize test or series of college courses could ever measure.Well I have to go get my laundry now and then continue studying legit this time. Peaceout. Do something nice for someone else today.
