AADMI KHILONA HAI....Madan (Jeetendra), a medical representative, his wife Ganga (Reena Roy), his daughter Guddi and Sharad (Govinda) his younger brother lived a contended and comfortable life. They were happy as a middle class family. Sharad loved and respected his elder brother and sister in law (babhi) as he would have his parents. Ganga was liked and respected in the neighborhood for the sacrifices she had made to keep the family happy. Sharad had to marry his sweetheart Poonam (Meenakshi Seshadri), in a hurry for a particular reason. Her entry into the household brought more happiness. When much against his wishes, Sharad and Poonam had to live separately Madan and Ganga were saddened. Meanwhile Sharad was progressing in his job. Sharad and Poonam's happiness was shattered when they came to know that Poonam would not be able to bear children. Now the element of greed entered Ganga's mind. She wanted everything for herself and her children. The earlier affection and love she had showered on Sharad were things of the past. Whatever she did now, was motivated by greed.
