I don't dig what some folks said about this tune. Since John's death & now George, This song was a way to bring some sort of brief life into one of the best if not the most influenced bands of all time. They didn't like the video, or it was too much, or blaa, blaa blaa. You "critic's are a joke, the only true critic is one who KNOWS the BIZ very well like I do. These people find themselves able to comment on a Beatles song and video. What better way to sound like a self absorbed snob, PUT DOWN THE DEAD GUY...John Lennon makes most people on this planet look like Nazi's, fascists. BUT Peace & LOVE to those who "keep the faith"if you dig where I'm comin' from. Non-conformity land! (a place once inhabited by millions, now it's turning into a metaphoric empty commune without freedom and freaks...) I AM COUNTER CULTURE, ALWAYS WILL QUESTION AUTHORITY(mostly because they are sub humane blue meanies), Also Big Brother is getting far TOO BIG. And North Korea is being a throwback, wrench in the works, ruining our anti nuke phase which was looking good. But someone once said as soon as these third world nimwits get ahold of a bomb or try making one, why is my first question & second we should have some headed straight for them enough to obliterate that whole area so it cannot be inhabited again(would be nice to drop LSD on the bad people instead, let them trip hard as hell. They'll be worrying about what Rave is coming up instead of "HOW TO KILL TO OWN EVERYTHING AND US FAT CAT PIGS ARE ALL THAT WILL MATTER." I HATE HATE. I Do Not Like Countries where people are told what to do hardcore. Or when we send aid and the mean asses take it and sell the meds on the black market. Etc. Etc. And America is starting to scare me, to much control, too many lies and far too much swept under a metaphoric rug. Our Government is a mess. They have lied so, so much, they're lies are catching up. Listen to yourself, be free, get stoned if you want but skip any booze. It's a trap.Big Brother...

original description

"Free as a Bird" is a song, single and video released by The Beatles in December 1995 as part of their "reunion" and promotion around the release of the video documentary Anthology and their Anthology 1 compilation album. Song was originally a piece of music that John Lennon composed, but never completed. The original Lennon recording was made circa 1977 in New York City. Yoko Ono gave a basic recording of the unfinished music to the remaining Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) who reunited to finalise and record the completed song.
