Watching your show on Fora TV, which I loved completely, a question was asked re: ball electricity. I recalled an incident thar I experienced during the summer of 1946 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. A lightening bolt struck a transformer at the Chromium Smelting plant (which had large electric arc furnaces). I did not see the lightening bolt but I did hear the thundering crash and ran out of a store , which was a block away, to see what had happened. I saw a fast rotating but slow moving fire ball (sparkling ball) travelling along the electrical wires from pole to pole about three feet in diameter. First it crossed Queen street from the south side to the north side then moved up along the street about 3/4 of the way and stopped but always rotating rapidly. It then changed direction and moved back to the corner of Hudson street and turned north at the corner. I got into the truck and drove up George street to see it from the other side on Hudson street. When I arrived there, it was gone. I walked along Queen street and noticed that there was no scorching whatsoever. The fireball obviously was not hot.
