The All Eyes On Me Achievement Awards that is…
The All Eyes On Me Achievement Awards, (formerly known as the Texas Holy Hip Hop Achievement Awards) kicks off this weekend June 20, 2008. This years event promises to be the biggest yet, as this year the event goes national.
In case you are unfamiliar with The AEOMAA, this event recognizes the artists, retailers, pastors, media representatives, DJ’s, graphic designers, vendors and others for their outstanding achievements and contributions in the inspirational hip hop music industry. There are more than 30 different categories in which the Awards are presented to the genre’s upper echelon of power movers and shakers. This will be the 7th annual presentation of the show.
This year for the very first time the show will be National, and to celebrate the occasion the plan is to honor and recognize the gospel rap pioneers who blazed trails and opened doors for urban ministers that followed.
This event kick-offs with a concert, and will include artist development workshops, discussion panels, a full-fledged ceremony complete with media red carpet, performances, and an after party. (What’s an award show without an after party)
The list of past performers, attendees, and participants include: MTV’s Sway, The Sugarhill Gang, George “P-Funk” Clinton, Pettidee, Urban D, Fred Lynch (aka Doug Tray) creator of The Epic, Lil Raskull, Lil Keke, Special Ed, I.D.O.L. King, Mark J, Mr. Del and many many others.
The Good people of the AEOMAA would be most honored by your participation in this event.
