Darrel Andrews, composer/songwriter has been listed on the Louisnana Artist Roster and has worked as a Resident Artist in Music Composition for the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. Formal Music studies were done at Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA and VanderCook College of Music, Chicago, IL. Mr. Andrews has had compositions performed by the Shreveport, Marshall, and Acadiana Symphony Orchestras. Ray Charles sponsored a recording session on 7 of Andrews' tunes during the '70s. Bobby Blue Bland recorded 2 of Andrews' Tunes. TRANQUIL IMAGES is also available on cassette and CD.
