" freely & fairly elected president of the U S " ???? LOLLL, was this guy smoking crack ? Im so glad GW is out , and Texas has its Town Idiot back ( I pity the Texans of course - but 8 yrs of Howdy Doody & his father Mephistopheles, was more than any nation could bear ) ; albeit he is out , the irreversible damages he has done to the US & Global economy will require more than an ' Obama ' to save us from .

Halloween may be upon us, but the scariest day could be election day, next Tuesday. If 2000 or 2004 is any predictive indication of the upcoming 2008 election day, I'm nervous already. If you're not at least slightly nervous about the... Thunderstorms in the Imajica - digital magic ezine for the real world.

JOHN W. ENNIS, Mr. Lower East Side of 2002, filmmaker, and election activist is looking to shoot a funny web video today while he is in town to shoot interviews for Video the Vote and screen his documentary FREE FOR ALL! (Roger Ebert just gave it 3 stars!) We have some promotional condoms we had made which read "ELECTION PROTECTION: DON'T GET SCREWED AT THE POLLS." My hope was to shoot an intimate parody of a condom ad. The girl stops her guy and holds up an Election protection condom, warning him that we'd all better be safe that sorry. Here are some other recent videos around this effort: Trailer: Q&A with a plant in the audience: Anyone interested should please email me with a link or picture so I can assess your deformities. I would love to get a hot young guy and girl who can be risque, have fun, and play up the parody. I will be around downtown Manhattan today, maybe getting into Brooklyn for an interview shoot. jwennis@mac.com Being a last-minute shoot, there is no reason to guarantee everything will work out. Afternoon is good; Early evening might be best. Thanks all artstars!!

Dandelion Salad by Greg Palast June 23, 2008 Are they going to Steal 2008?  Don’t worry:  it’s already stolen.  But you can steal it back.  Ted Rall and I have teamed up for one of the first ever series of hard-edged investigative journalism - in ‘toon form. Steal this strip … and pass it on:  VOTE THEFT FOR IDIOTS - PART 1 … [click the photo, then click "All Sizes" at the top of the pic] And if you’re in LA and New York, don’t miss the opening of the film that pulls down the pants of the Ohio election, “Free For All.”  Follow John Ennis into the colon of American democracy, Ohio 2004.  It’s funny as hell - oddly, democracy’s death can tickle your funny bone while laying out the story of the latest quadrennial vote heist.  Watch the trailer [below]. This film will be available online at www.freeforall.tv on July 4th — for downloads, for DVDs, and for FREE streaming!  (Please also check out our new line of hip shirts!) We are holding some advance screenings in LA & NY.  If you would like to attend, please RSVP — with which screening you would like to attend — to hollywoodnt@mac.com.    (And it won’t cost you — these screenings are FREE for ALL!) Seating is limited; if you cannot attend we intend to hold more screenings soon. NEW YORK: Monday, June 23rd, 5 p.m. Pioneer Theater (155 East 3rd Street, between Avenues A and B) * Special Guest MARK CRISPIN MILLER will join the director John Ennis after the screening. Wednesday, June 25th, Midnight Bowery Poetry Club (308 Bowery, between Houston & 1st St.) * The Palast Investigative Team and Downtown Art Star Rev. Jen will join the director John Ennis after the screening. LOS ANGELES: Thursday, June 26th, 7:30 p.m. Clarity Theater in Beverly Hills (100 N. Crescent Drive at Wilshire Bl.) * Q&A with the director John Ennis after the screening. *** Greg Palast, author of the New York Times bestsellers Armed
