Since the New Testament was written in Greek, the English name Jesus did not even appear in the original manuscripts, but the Greek name Iesous. The name Jesus did not even appear in the first English bibles, but was spelled Iesus which was being develpoed from the Greek Iesous. I am sure that you do not believe that the New Testament was orginally written in English, therefore no one would have been baptized using the name Jesus, but perhaps the name for the Messiah in the language that they spoke. Remember that you are reading scriptures from the English, not the language that they were written in by the hands of the New Testament writers.
If you could find an orginal manuscript, it would not contain the name Jesus.
I would like to hear from you.
Brethren Jesus never commanded his disciples to baptized in the Names of Father,Son and Holy Spirit...but He "Said...."In the NAME" which is singular, which means the name is Jesus seee Matt 1:21;Acts 4:12,. you cannot be saved in the titles or any others names but only in Jesus name.
Finally in the original Hebrew Mathew Bible there is no mentioned at all about triune formula. Also no one in the New Testament baptized in Trinity formula but always in Jesus or Lord Jesus name...acts 2:38;8:16;19:5;10:48; etc
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
If you could find an orginal manuscript, it would not contain the name Jesus.
