On July 12, 2008, the Green Party of the United States held its Presidential Convention in Chicago, Illinois. Green Parties from all around the country sent delegates to choose a presidential and vice presidential candidate. The Co-Chairs of the NY Delegation were Colia Clark and Peter Lavenia, who went on stage to announce that 28.5 of NY's 36 votes were for Cynthia McKinney for President. Rosa Clemente was chosen as the Vice Presidential Candidate. In July-August 2008, the Green Party of NY State will need to collect 15,000 signatures to get its candidates on the ballot. Please help.
