From the King Street Metro Station, we took the free King Street Trolley to the Riverfront. There we boarded the Admiral Tilp for a 40 minute tour of the Potomac River. Afterwards, we boarded the water taxi to the new National Harbor (under construction) where we ate lunch, then returned, and went home via the Trolley and the Metro.

I had originally planned a cruise to Georgetown when we returned from Maryland, but that water taxi runs only on weekends. By then we were tuckered out anyway. What more excitement could one ask for, as we went right under the brand new bridge that is still under construction?
