It was very good to see my friend Nick Wallis at Labour's National Policy Forum last month. So I'm delighted to present Nick (and Graham Robb) interviewing former Tory leader Hague as part of the Northern Decision makers internet TV channel. To me, Hague sounds a bit cocky! It's also a pleasure to see another old friend on the show in Chris Lloyd.I spent a lot of time with Chris when he was the mere political editor of the Northern Echo, and I always thought he was one of the best writers on politics in the country. At least part of this was because he has a genuine sympathy for politics and politicians of all parties, without letting them get away with talking nonsense. As a result, he often gets insights others miss. You can see that in his questions to Hague in this interview, but also in his interviews with Tony Blair.Chris is the current North East journalist of the year, and it's a well deserved accolade. One of the pleasures of the internet is that I can still read his articles despite being based in London.Well worth a watch! more about "Broadband TV Channel", posted with vodpod
