Get this ad on TV! - http://truthandhope.org/Although I enjoyed Barack Obama's recent web ad "Embrace" (the one with lots of hugging between Bush and McCain), I still think the campaign needs to be a little harsher. The idea of a continuation of Bush policies into a third term should be scary, not playful. Furthermore, I think it's important to emphasize that McCain has been "doubling down" on Bush's policies at the same time the rest of the nation (and world) has been abandoning them.I created this ad to illustrate the kind of concept I'd like to see Obama's team develop. Again, not claiming to match the quality of Obama's ad team here. :) But I think that it's a good message, and would work well on the disenfranchised former Bush supporters (or at least people who had neutral feelings about him early on), who feel like they know better know, and wouldn't make that mistake again. If the American people can "get it" about Bush, why can't McCain?(p.s. -- music by Kevin MacLeod!)
For those of you that keep telling me McCain is for change and is a reformer with his maverick self, I find that hard to believe considering how he has increasingly been voting with Bush.Spare me the talk of cutting earmarks which is not enough to get us out of this hold we are currently in; and, talk of being a reformer is kinda silly, especially if all your campaign staff members are lobbyist. But, even more importantly, why is it that McCain/Barbie Palin refuse to talk about real issues? Wouldn't that show the American people what he means by change considering his record? more about "The Public v. McCain", posted with vodpod

How exactly do you "vote with Bush", since the executive doesn't actually do any voting? Great ad, but I've always wondered how you get that statistic. Maybe just call anything he didn't veto a yes vote?
[Found by John Barth.] Anti-McCain citizen ad (video) showing the drop in Bush's popularity and the rise in the percentage of times McCain has voted with Bush in last 4 years. Creator says it's the kind of ad he'd like to see Obama campaign create.
A lot of you have probably seen this video. It's an amateur/independent pro-Obama, anti-McCain ad. There are a few elements -- tonal stuff -- that would have to be changed for a campaign to run something like this. But it's very good. The makings of a killer ad ...
Le buzz du jour sur YouTube se demande pourquoi le sénateur McCain vote-t-il toujours davantage en faveur de projets de George W. Bush depuis 2000, alors même que la politique de celui-ci est toujours plus impopulaire aux Etats-Unis ?
