This is possibly the greatest video game trailer ever made. I think that the game is decidedly less Grindhouse-y, but the trailer is still pure genius. more about "The House of the Dead: OVERKILL trailer", posted with vodpod

Oh, my. After porting two entries in its classic zombie-shooter series to Wii, Sega is producing an all-new House of the Dead installment with an inspired pulp-fiction twist. The House of the Dead: Overkill, which the company announced Tuesday at the Leipzig games convention in Germany, reinvents the series with a look and feel reminiscent of Grindhouse. Just check out the amazing trailer, at right, for some idea of what London-based developer Headstrong Games is after. It remains to be seen, of course, whether this clever style will actually fundamentally impact the gameplay, or whether it'll just be seen as window dressing. We'll all find out when it's released in early 2009.House of the Dead Overkill
