The Mp3 DJ and/or the Serrato Generation. I fall right into this category, being an ex DJ and having a nice little stack of records at one time, I am now down to only 2 ( which I designed the covers for). Except I sold them right before RANE introduced Serrato, which changed everything. Nothing had been that big since the MK1200 and now DJ's simply carry a small bag with cables, a mixer ( and sometimes a small box) and a hard drive holding a party deep inside of it. check out Paul Mawhinney's record collection. At over 3 million records, it's the largest in the world. He's trying to sell it due to his advancing age and health problems. Unfortunately, as he puts it, "no one gives a damn." via Gizmodo
