There will always be ignorance. The same people who believe the Holocaust was a hoax. If McCain is elected I hope they drive the country into the ground. Serves them all right.

original description

If you have been watching coverage of the Democratic National Convention even peripherally, you have seen and heard segments asking whether Hillary Clinton is genuinely behind Barack Obama’s candidacy or not. Her speech last night in Denver perhaps quieted some of the rumblings within the media and the Democratic Party, but it has made little impact on some of Hillary’s supporters, specifically the crazy ones who now support John McCain. If anything is evident about the groups like Clinton’s for McCain, its that their members were never true supporters of Hillary Clinton. For starters, I can guarantee that there are no Clinton’s for McCain. Clinton supporters, sure, but certainly no actual Clintons.  On national television yesterday Chris Matthews took on Christi Adkins, a member of Just Say No Deal, a coalition of rabid Hillary supporters who are encouraged to vote for McCain or a third party candidate. Adkins was promptly embarrassed by Matthews and the legions of Obama supporters behind her when she tried to paint Barack Obama as a Muslim. (Again, I feel it necessary to state that the fact that opponents use Muslims and Islam as a scare tactic against Obama, or anyone else, is downright racist and an embarrassment to this country.) Adkins was made a fool of again, this time at the hands of Jon Stewart and John Oliver at The Daily Show. Video of the segment is on the video bar on the right. Anyways, Adkins and her fellow radicals have made it quite clear that their support for Hillary Clinton was superficial. Hillary Clinton has denounced these supporters and scolded groups like Just Say No Deal who have left the party in favor of John McCain. So how do people like Adkins rationalize ignoring the requests of Hillary Clinton to support Barack Obama? “We will not fall in line like mindless groupies behind her supporting Senator Obama.” Instead they will fall in  line like mindless groupies supporting a Republican.
