High water fly fishing is different for sure and its great for the fish. Not only are the fish growing fast they are in great nick. Trout that have been in the waterway for a few months, have been through the fishy equivalent of boot camp, and would pull your average stocker inside out. Vernon Jones has caught permit, steelhead and more but even he was surprised at they way these fish are pulling for their size. Lots of fun
