Niki de Saint Phalle, Introspections and Reflections (1/9) on Vimeo
This video is the introduction to my documentary Introspections and Reflections, which focuses on the fascinating life and art of Niki de Saint Phalle, the self-taught Franco-American aristocratic beauty who died in 2002. Although her art is internationally renowned and loved by people of all ages and cultures, her place in the history of contemporary art and sculpture remains undervalued by the art world.

Introspections and Reflections explores the relationship between Niki de Saint Phalle's work and her life, fraught with rage and suffering, and ultimately, regeneration and joy, and provides a context for one of the 20th Century's most complex female artists.
